Savista Monsoon Escape (Weekend Break)
48 Hours in a Rajput Haveli in the Rain
That first heavy rain? It changes everything. The relentless dry heat shatters, and suddenly our whole twelve-acre estate smells like wet mud and absolute relief. It happens incredibly fast—you can literally watch the dark storm clouds pull over the Aravalli hills while sitting dry in our three-hundred-year-old courtyard.
This isn’t your standard weekend away. No frantic itineraries, no rushing to monuments. It’s just forty-eight hours of pure quiet. We built this specific weekend for people who just want to sit on a deep veranda, hold a cup of scalding masala chai, and do nothing but listen to the rain hitting the peepal trees.
Your heart rate drops. You don’t have somewhere to be. You just finally have space—space to breathe, space to crack open that book you bought six months ago, and space to remember what a slow afternoon is actually supposed to feel like.
The Experience

Show up on a Friday afternoon, drop your bags, and feel the immediate relief. (By the way, our water comes from deep borewells—you can drink it safely right out of the tap).
When it comes to food, our philosophy is incredibly simple. We grow it, we press our own oils, and we serve it fresh in the Hibiscus Court. Our staff? They’re all from the surrounding village, meaning there’s zero corporate scripting or stiff service—just genuine warmth. The meals are Ayurvedic, entirely vegetarian, and crafted so you leave the table feeling repaired, not bloated.
Saturday morning shifts the rhythm. Start with guided yoga. Later on, maybe step out into the village. We’d be happy to introduce you to the local block printers or potters who live right down the road.
But if the rain is coming down heavy? Just stay inside. Grab a massive reference book from the library, play chess, or sit and watch the peacocks wander the lawns.
